After 11 years from his previous album Wolfram comes back with the new one. Altough a long break, during these 11 years Wolfram wasn't on hiatus completely. He created a bunch of tracks for different compilations, music for movies, theatre plays and sound installations.
They resulted with "Earth [Warsaw]" (BDTA, 2014) with music for the movie directed by Ho Tzu Nyen (2010) or self-released miniCDR "Moon" with music for sound installation. But still, there was missing completely new music by Wolfram using new samples and concepts.
Why did it take 11 years it will remain author's secret but the final effect is more than satisfying.
Maybe it was second album syndrome, if we start counting from "Thinking Dust" (MonotypeRec., 2005) which was closing CD-R period in Wolfram's discography and was highly acclaimed by music critics in Poland...?
After these 11 year Wolfram comes back in full-blossom of his own style till keeping the winding track between ambient and noise. Short, only 40-minute long album drags listener into sphere of disturbing sounds and hypnotises with subtle structures.
Music is complemented with album's minimalistic layout also projected by Wolfram.
"X" is a part of wider project consisting of mini CD-R, CD and audio cassette, but due to small budget they are only available in very short run of 25 copies as a special set in a box with graphics by renown painter Aleksandra Waliszewska. Wolfram plans to share them over the internet in near future.
